DOWN RODEO

It seems that I will be going out on the town tonight. And I will go and see a band tomorrow night. I will not, however, be watching seven-and-a-half-hours of War and Peace on Sunday - even thought James T says it is good value at just over £1 an hour...

Load up on guns, bring your friends, it's fun to lose and to pretend.
I'm sure I'll have something more worthwhile to write by tomorrow..

OF NOTHING FOR NOBODY ANYWHERE AROUND HERE ANYMORE

Went to see Charlie and Sarah in Wimbledon (small bear-like creatures abound here) last night, which was very nice. Always good to catch up and reminisce about the old days and swap war stories. It really is good to see some familiar faces once in a while, I can tell you. I would have liked to tarry there a while longer.
After bidding my hosts farewell, I ventured on to Paddington (another native bear variety is known to frequent here) to see off a nice young lady called Jamie, who is touring Paris for the weekend. Fie, I rather wish I was going to Paris for the weekend...Hold it, I'm supposed to be going to Prague... one must prioritise for once in one's life. I think I shall travel by luxury coach. Back in time for tea & Christmas Pud, a dab of Sherry, then I will off to Budapest. Then I will away to Spain.

Then I will go mad. (I've heard it's quite nice in the springtime.)
